This drain is completely blocked

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 6 minutes later. ref: 1885653.

The drain has become completely blocked by leaves, twigs and general road debris. This is causing water to build-up into large puddles that then begin to flood the road surface.

There is also considerable rutting and a number potholes along the side of the road and in the centre of the road which is making the problem of water run-off even worse as even if the drains where clear the water cannot easily run to them.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. A works order has been raised for potholes on the junction of butchers lane and will be completed within 6 months. The drain/ drains will be cleansed on the next routine cyclical program. incase of A flooding emergency please do not hesitate to contact us on daytime number between 8.00AM and 18.00pm 0300 126 1000 or for out of hours duty officer number is 01604 651074.

  • Request for edging repairs to School Road where the bollards have been installed. The road edge has worn away completely
