Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1894892.
The road approaching the bridge from Daventry is getting worst and the road is dipping even more before the bridge. If people hit it at any speed it causes damage to suspension and tyres and also forces drivers drive on the wrong side of the road where the dip is not so profound

Northamptonshire Highways have developed a scheme to resolve the issue however during the design of the scheme badger setts have been found and as they are a protect species we cannot undertake the repairs until the badger sett is closed (June to November 2020)d

So who’s is it? Or do you just wash your hands of it, whilst drivers vehicles get damaged

Northamptonshire Highways have developed a scheme to resolve the issue however during the design of the scheme badger setts have been found and as they are a protect species we cannot undertake the repairs until the badger sett is closed (June to November 2020) As previously stated we have a scheme to resolve the issue. We are monitoring the condition of the road, to protect the travelling public, it may be necessary to implement a speed limit if this is not observed then we may need to close the road. Northamptonshire Highways has commissioned ecologists to monitor the site for period for 21 days, with camera traps. This will then be followed by an application to Natural England for a sett closure, assuming approval is successful the sett can be closed between 1st July and 30th November. Once the sett is closed and we have confirmation that the badgers are no longer affected, then works may commence.

Thanks for the update. It would would have been good when the previous comment saying it is not the councils responsibility was added, that they said however it is Northamptonshire Highways and that the matter will still be resolved which would have saved the questions.

As this problem is clearly being kicked Into the long grass why don't you place "uneven surface" signs at the side of the road to warn vehicles that don't use this road every day. The 3 dips are so bad that tyre marks are now visible on the "landing" side of each dip
