Broken pavement/severe mud over public footpaths due to cars crossing over green to park on their front gardens
Reported in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 16:20, Wed 18 December 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 5 minutes later. ref: 1895204.
There are tripping and slipping hazards, both on the public footpaths and green verges, caused by locals crossing over public footpaths to park on their front gardens. This includes broken pavement slabs and severe mud. The mud is particular bad in front of no. 20 Glebeland Road. There is also no lighting in the car park area which means people walking cannot see the ground clearly and are at risk of a fall. This has been ongoing for a number of years but this year is the worst it has ever been and now puts non driving residents and visitors at risk.

No letters have been received and the pavements and verges are even worse - an accident waiting to happen. A long term solution needs to be found - ideally more parking needs to be created otherwise barriers need to erected to prevent residents crossing and/or parking on the green spaces.
