While passing this junction, our front wheel dropped into this hole and has damaged the tyre hopefully the wheel in not damaged, visit to a tyre specialist tomorrow to find out.

I completely agree - massive deep hole and crashed through with tyre - can't avoid due to junction traffic - needs attention ASAP - cannot be seen at night at all.

This problem still seems to exist! I'm told that some tarmac was dropped in these holes just over a week ago. However whatever temporary repair that was made has now failed due a both weather and the constant movement of heavy lorries at this junction.
