3ft x 1ft hole just before house on RHS travelling west

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1905150.

Driving at night did not see pot hole and it caused a pucture in a good tyre. As a result hed to change both front tyres as 4 wheel drive.

  • I also had the misfortune to find this crater late at night Christmas Day. Resulting in a buckled wheel and ruined tyre. At the same time a recovery vehicle was collecting yet another victim at exactly the same spot.

  • Hole now has two road cones inside it, care needs to be taken as width of road has effectively been reduced in half. Unsure if placed by council officials or a well meaning member of public, but at least identifies hazard to all.

  • These potholes must now be deemed as Cat 1 24 Hours yet they have been outsating for more than 2 weeks. The only safe way to travel Oakley Rd/Pipewell Rd is in the centre of the carrigeway with the potential of coliding with another vehicle. And pothole O/S No 3 is now so big the cone has disapeared in it !

  • Monday 06/01/2020 4pm approx. Driving in the dark, slight drizzle, lorry in front of me. It is not possible to see just how severe this pothole is. New wheel rim and tyre now required.
