This pothole is approx 12-14in long and 8-10in wide, and about 6in deep. It is in the nearside wheel track of the road and to avoid it would mean crossing onto the opposite carriageway - therefore increased risk of collision. If not avoided by a cyclist, I reasonably expect they would be thrown from the cycle and suffer injury

  • After hitting this pothole my tyre is ripped and my alloy wheel damaged. I braked to slow down as a lorry was coming in the opposite direction but still went down hole. I am very disappointed to read that this hole has been reported since December and has been under investigation since 27/12/2019
