15x11 inch pothole on Glendale Road on westbound side, before bridge
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 12:47, Sat 28 December 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1907515.
This 15x11 inch pothole (2.5 inch deep) is cited close to the verge on the westbound side of the road. My front left tyre hit this pothole going at the speed limit (40mph) on 28/12/2019 AM and this has caused severe damage to the wall of my tyre (see attached photo). As you can see within the photo showing depth of the pothole; there is a sharp jagged edge of tarmac that looks to have caused this damage. Luckily my tyres are run flats, otherwise I would not have been able to continue my journey. I will be in contact for full reimbursement for tyre replacement. Please get this pothole fixed, so that other motorists do not endanger themselves.
