Pothole, road surface breaking up

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 20:59, Mon 30 December 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 1 minute later. ref: 1911169.

Road surface deteriorating, potholes appearing but repairs are never effective because the crumbling material around the potholes is never cut out and replaced. Another pothole has appeared on the east side of the road and it will only be a matter of time before the whole area fails.

  • This pot hole is awful, I hit it yesterday (car coming the other way made it unavoidable) and was surprised that my tyre didn't burst. Unfortunately I think someone did burst their tyre on it this morning :(

  • Hit this pothole this morning and it has blown my left front tyre. Pothole has the paint circle around it but I couldn't avoid it as cars were coming in the opposite direction. I have literally only just got this tyre replaced after hitting another pothole before christmas. Absolutely furious at the state of our roads in Northamptonshire. Another council claim to manage!!!!!
