Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1914244.
Previous references 1844928 and 1862738 re. drains outside 30mph limit on Hill Road, Lower Boddington. Was told these drains would be cleansed by end of December 2019 but this has not happened. Water now flowing up out of one drain causing adjacent one to subside, water permanently running and going under road surface at lower drain and running down road in permanent stream now. When are these drains going to be maintained please?

Water is still running down the road and could become a problem if it freezes. This hill is used by the school bus

Not only are the drains blocked by leaves in this location, the footpaths have also become dangerous and slippery. The leaves have not been cleared since last Autumn. The photographs show the footpath near Kernow House and Sears Farmhouse.

It is not leaves blocking these drains, it is long-accumulated silt and debris. The lower drain is now subsiding and water is running under the road surface as well as down the road. Most of the rest of the drains at the top of Hill Road are similarly blocked.

Anglian Water have confirmed verbally that the water discharging from the drain is not mains water. Of the other drains outside the 30mph limit, many are still totally blocked, the water is still discharging from the previously mentioned drain and the adjacent drain has sunk further. Please can you give an idea of when these problems will be remedied? Attention was first drawn to the situation in November 2019.

The water continues to pour down the hill from the overflowing drain. The resulting stream is now starting to undermine the granite setts at the edge of our drive, which is very dangerous as one could be thrown up by a passing car. PLEASE may we have some action??? Action within 28 days was promised on 7th January and this has NOT happened.
