Potholes not repaired as suggested.

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 18:24, Thursday 2 January 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 1915425.

Potholes previously reported as fixed per ref 1796493 have not been repaired. A road team attended in early November and repaired one pothole but left a series of others. The others had already been marked with yellow spray paint so I'm not sure why they were not repaired at the same time. In any case, the remaining potholes have become deeper and now are through to the base layer below the surface layer.

  • Please note that the potholes previously reported are now very deep and causing my house to vibrate when vehicles pass over them. As mentioned previously, the house is very old (18th century, listed property) and I am concerned about structural damage. Furthermore, aggregate from lower layers of the road is being flicked up onto the pavement posing a risk to pedestrians. I appreciate there can be a 4 month turnaround time but if anything can be done to expedite these repairs it would be greatly appreciated. My daughter is being woken up by the vibrations that are being caused.
