Large parts of the gutter and drains have been blocked on Harborough Rd opposite Thortons Park.

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 2 minutes later. ref: 1917344.
Large parts of the gutter and drains On Harborough Road, opposite Thornton's Park, from Osbourne Road to the entrance to Northgate School have been blocked by leaves and debris for many many months. The resultant mess holds water and makes the whole area like standing in a very mudy field. The areas effected stretch out from the kerb towards the centre of the road by almost 1metre. This, coupled with the poor lighting at night makes it very treacherous under foot when going to and from parked vehicles. Because of the vehicles I think residents will have to be informed when the work is to take place to allow access to the effected areas. I would suggest we could all park on the grass on the opposite side of the road for a few hours. I don't know why this hasn't been done before.

This is the situation this afternoon, 19/01. Can you please provide an update. As you can see from the photo with the lying water, the situation is the same on parts of the footpath adjacent to the kerb with water lying in low areas of the path almost half a metre wide.
