3ft hole where road is now collapsed. Cone put in place by locals almost impassable with a standard car. 5 tyres damaged
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 09:18, Sun 5 January 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1919056.
Radstone Village road towards the A43. The council have been out to Put white marks on very few of the holes. This road hasn't been touched since the early 70's. Repairing the holes with the blow tarmac method seems to be the only thing that lasted longer than 2/3 months. It's in such a bad state of repair that my car now scrapes on the centre of the road without pot holes..

Here are some more photos of the pot holes along this road. These pot holes clearly have been here for a significant amount of time as they are at least a metre wide and 20cm deep. That size pothole simply doesn’t appear overnight so it’s apparent that no one has surveyed this road. These are just a few photos, but the whole road is littered with pot holes of significant sizes. Too many to stop and take photos. My car hit one and has cost me £280 to replace the tyre, a tyre that I had literally replaced just before Christmas. I will be seeking compensation.
