Severe tarmac deterioration around pothole

The tarmac around the pothole in the middle of this very busy T-junction has deteriorated very badly in the last few months. Depth has dropped to 5-6" and in my opinion constitutes a danger to vehicles and pedestrians. Loose scree is also being thrown up into the road.
