I would urge the highways dept to have another look at this please, I travel this section every day and the one hole has now developed into three. As you pass the traffic island right opposite the junction into Wakerley on the side travelling to corby you now have to stay close to the left as much as possible to avoid damage to your right wheels. If this was not such a busy road I would attempt to stop and take some pictures. This whole section or road duddington to corby is really getting in a state.

The hole is enormous! I pass every day on my way to work. Your chaps need to look again. It does from the road side on way to Corby to central reservation. It looks like it was dug up and filled (utilities??). its huge and nearly took m wheel off. THIS IS URGENT PLEASE LOOK AGAIN!

I believe this is the same pothole we came across on our return from Lincoln heading towards Kettering around midnight Sunday going into Monday on the 9th March 2020. We felt the car go into a hole and heard an almighty thump it frightened my wife and myself, luckily there was a layby nearby on the right hand side, I thought the whole front of the car was damaged. The damage I found was the front o/s tyre had burst and the alloy rim was dented and split / fractured.

Yesterday - 5th May my wife & I hit this pothole which destroyed 2 tyres (offside front & rear) and like a previous posting I managed to keep control of my car and pulled into a layby on the opposite side of the A43. Our thanks to Parker Fry who came out from Peterborough to recover us and my Jaguar - and take us back to our home in Oundle.
It is particularly disappointing to read earlier postings regarding this pothole and that Northamptonshire CC have clearly known about this problem on a major trunk road for many weeks - and seemingly have done nothing to resolve it. We were lucky to keep control of our car - others in the future may not be so fortunate

Hi. When are you going to stop the Mick George Highway. They are destroying the countryside, roads and verges, from Weldon to the Duddington roundabout. It really is awful and how you allow these lorries to destroy the roads for so long Ive no idea. This whole road needs to be a dual carriageway and should have been a dual carriageway for years !!!

How do I make claim on Northants County Council for the damage done to my car on 5th May caused by their failure to repair this pothole in a timely manner ??
