Damage to grass verges
Reported in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 16:17, Thursday 9 January 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1928356.
You have said that the problem is fixed gowever i beg to differ. filling two damaged verges by adding more earth which people are already parking on is not a fix. this will not stop people parking on the verges causing criminal damage. i am shocked at your fix and angry !!! shame on you. the workmen only filled two areas there are so many more

My drive now suffers from flooding due to the damage of thr grass verges. the water stays in the churned up earth then over flows onto the path and then my drive. this is causing damage to my drive and is a safety hazard for pedestrians along with the wet leaves could fall and sue the council as they have again been informed of thr continuing issue

Another car last night causing reckless criminal damage and dangerously parked by the side of the road causing vision issues to drovers leaving the drive. this is first and foremost criminal damage that you are turning a blind eye too

We simply do not have the resources to carry out significant repairs to verges as this is a massive problem at this time of year. if verges are continually damaged by drivers parking on them we will not routinely attend to repair the damage. We will also not carry out repairs for aesthetic reason s or to facilitate parking.

Then why did you waste money using workmen to fill with more earth that has added to the issue. this is very short sighted as the verges will get to a point when it will incur even more money. this is also a danger issue. please can you provide me with contact details to speak directly with someone instead of anon computer screen
