Vehicles damaging verge and footpath, making footpath unsafe for pedestrians.

Reported in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 15:34, Friday 10 January 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 1930332.

Part of the verge by the pedestrian footpath is not protected by a solid curb between "The Old Forge" and "The Laurels". Vehicles have driven over the verge spreading the verge over the footpath which is slippery mud and very dangerous for pedestrians. In addition pedestrians are at risk of being struck by the vehicular traffic driving over the verge.

Residents had previously placed large boulders on the verge to stop this traffic, but were instructed to remove the boulders by Northants CC, this has exacerbated the situation and now offers no protection for pedestrians.
