Blocked drain, flooding road
Reported in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 21:12, Mon 13 January 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 4 minutes later. ref: 1935636.
On Brackley Road in Towcester, between the oval roundabout and the a43 roundabout, the drain between the roundabout and the pedestrian crossing. It floods every time it rains but obviously worse today. How the driver of the car in front of me retained control is anybody’s guess. In the dark you come off the roundabout and can’t see the flood water until your in it. Had someone have been using the pedestrian crossing it might have been a lot worse.

This flooding of the highway is still there, it appears no action whatsoever has been taken. It over 1.5 lanes and almost over the kerb onto the footpath. Obvious blocked drains and easy to resolve.
