Passage from nether close to the river bridge, gets very muddy and slippery. this area is well used by all. This is very slippery. When it rains the area becomes worse and boggy and the water sits on the surface.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Public Footpaths VA10 and VA11 have been inspected on 15-1-20. Unfortunately due to the wet weather and ground conditions a huge number of paths on the Rights of Way Network are water logged and muddy at the moment. These routes were walkable with suitable footwear. Northamptonshire Highways will continue to monitor these footpaths but no maintenance action will be taken at the current time.
