Have just done this driving through finedon road industrial estate. No I was not speeding but neither could I see just how bad the holes were til I hit them. £220 to replace the tyre.

Thank you for your enquiry. We are currently making the carriageway safe for road users. In accordance with our criteria for maintenance, a more permanent repair/surfacing work will be undertaken within the next 6 months. "Currently making carriageway safe..." you're having a laugh; this stretch of road is worse than ever and will soon be unpassable save with a Landrover. The succession of botched 'repairs' betray an obvious policy of managed neglect that the County pretends is adequate to discharge its statutory duties. Whoever is responsible should hang their heads in shame.
