Repairs needed from installation of speed camera

Reported in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 19:44, Saturday 18 January 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 1 minute later. ref: 1947253.

A speed sign was installed, by the council opposite 72 Ecton Lane Sywell, and where the cable crosses the path the grass verge has disintegrated and washed away leaving quite a step on the edge of the path, which means someone could lose their footing and fall in front of the traffic. The road has also started to break up near this area, and will cause a large pot hole very soon if it isn't filled in.

  • Following on from my original message, I can see that the job status has changed to "scheduled" as of 29th Jan, I am concerned that all the repairs that had been marked out on Ecton Lane have been carried out & I am worried that the repairs outside my property has been overlooked as the spray paint has been worn away. Can you re-assure me that this repair has not been forgotten & I would also like to point out that the trench that was dug out across the road for the power for the traffic sign has now sunk further, causing more issues, and wasn't marked out initially for repair. Thanks
