Sequencing of signals at peak tims

Currently i am having to walk with sticks so I am slower than normal so I have been very careful with the crossing and the signals. Twice last week, when I was crossing from Kingsway direction across Northampton Road, I waited for the green man and I saw that the right turn filters come on so started to cross and found then that I had traffic coming at me from the town direction! This is positively very dangerous. Furthermore on another occasion at 8 am the lights changed on the main road to filter and then back again to green causing long delays in both Queensway and Kingsway. I saw then that the filters came on again and at this point some traffic on the side roads turned left against the red signal. I have raised this previously with you and in my opinion, this system is very unfair to those users trying to access the main road. It also happens at off peak times when traffic in quite light on the main road and I think you need to reconsider this
