Drain completely blocked with gravel & stones

Reported in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 10:39, Tuesday 21 January 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 11 minutes later. ref: 1951996.

The blocked drain was reported last year, why haven't you done something about it? Due to the blocked drain the rain water is running down the road (Mill Hill) like a river. When it freezes or snows it will be a danger (H&S issue) to pedestrians, cars and lorries. It needs to be cleared manually, not with a road sweeper. Please can you carry out this work immediately.

  • I have received your notification that work will be undertaken within 28 days, this means you have 2 days to complete the work, I'm looking forward to seeing your workmen on the job! While you are in the area there is another drain blocked with stones at the top of West Street, No 2. It has now been 6 months since this problem was reported so don't let me down please?
