Grass verge damaged by vehicles,o/s Lavender care group,Wymington road Rushden.

The grass verge outside the Lavender Group Care Home in Wymington Road Rushden, has now become a quagmire due to visitors,mini buses and Taxi,s parking on the grass verge,or what is left of the grass verge,this is inside double yellow lines and is meant to be a bus stop,the cause is too many vehicles visiting this site and not enough adequate parking provide by the care home.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. A works order has been raised this will be undertaken within the next 6 months. On most occasions, we are completing defects sooner. ). Can you please contact us again if the defect gets any worse so our officers can re-inspect, preferably attaching a photograph (where it is safe for you to take one).

  • Unfortunately,the problem is getting worse,the care home staff are driving minibuses and cars over the mud and over the pavement making this a health and safety issue as this is making the pavement slippery,I hope that you can inform the care home group to stop this practice and charge them for the damage that they have caused.
