Vastly overhanging hedge
Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 15:52, Tue 28 January 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 6 minutes later. ref: 1965883.
The hedge is obstructing the vast majority of the footpath and if a vehicle parks alongside, short of ducking down and walking whilst bent over, you then have to go out onto the road. I appreciate the hedge is within the frontage of number 252 Main Road and is not on adopted verge but understand Highways are able to send an obstruction letter to them requesting them to attend to their overgrown vegetation. I believe the hedge has not been cut for the last couple of years. Your assistance would be appreciated, many thanks.

I am not sure if this has been followed up with the property owner as more than 30 days have passed since your letter but the hedge has not been attended to still. I just wanted to add that this property is only 6 doors up from the entrance to a lower school and so on a daily basis parents with push chairs and small children are having to walk into the road to avoid this hedge. Many thanks
