Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 4 minutes later. ref: 1970820.
I hit this pothole last night at 1720hrs and it has caused substantial damage to my rear near side tyre and wheel. I have been back here this morning and have taken a photo of the pothole which is approx 6 inches deep. There are at least 9 hubcabs in the immediate vicinity indicating that other vehicles may have gone into it as well. My vehicle is being recovered today and I will be making a claim.

Shocking road surface, this has been reported lots of times before, this is very dangerous for cyclists as to find a safe way up this section of road requires riding on the wrong side of the road to miss all the holes and badly patched / broken surfaces. It is equally as bad coming from either direction. I will be posting this on social media also as it really is about time something was done about it once and for all.
