Utilities tarmac-ing is sinking across 65 - 75% width of the road
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 10:11, Tue 4 February 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 6 minutes later. ref: 1978015.
On the A45 between the new industrial warehouse site and the island serving Yeomanry way/Royal Oak Way South/Leamignton way. Yet again where the construction site has had utility works done, and tarmac-ed over the channel it has sunk significantly. To the point it stretches between 65 & 75% the width of the road. To describe how bad it is you can visually see into the channel that was cut, and parts of the tarmac have risen well above the road surface due to the weight of traffic - the tarmac used after the utility works is just being continually squeezed outwards. And it getting worse by the day.
On the previous repair done. I noticed the council had stated it had made it clear to the construction firm they were responsible for ensuring their repairs were maintained. Clearly they have not listened.
