Damaged kerbstone
Reported in the Damaged/Loose category anonymously at 09:29, Wed 5 February 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 2 minutes later. ref: 1980020.
THIS IS A RECURRING PROBLEM: The photographs highlight damage to the kerbstone located outside number 12 Sandringham Road.
I have contacted the council on several previous occasions with the same problem as this damage recurs frequently. I have asked for the kerbstone to either be replaced or to use better quality materials to rectify this ongoing and consistent problem but each time, the council insist on half measures and inferior materials to fix this problem which will happen again if not made good correctly.
You can clearly see that the old ironwork is exposed and can cause damage to vehicle tyres or potential injury to pedestrians. Also is it possible to replace the old iron work drainage for something more in keeping with the 21st century as you have done outside some of the houses in Sandringham Road. (see photograph attached)
Thank you.
