Ongoing road flooding due to blocked carrier pipes
Reported in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 19:48, Sunday 9 February 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 4 minutes later. ref: 1988151.
A508 completely floods after every heavy rainfall event. Gullies/drainage requires inspection and maintenance from Swan Inn to Brampton Valley Way. Unfortunately, the recent footway drainage works carried out by NH north of BVW gave no improvement to the area of road which has repeated flooding. The flooding happens slightly further south at the BVW crossing and driveway of Station House.

The road is completely flooded this morning traffic slowing to 20mph or less due to amount of water. I would estimate it at being 1-2 inches deep in places across the whole width of the road.
