Highways maintenance vehicle has decided this location is his personal parking space and destroyed the verge.

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 6 minutes later. ref: 1988155.

This highways maintenance vehicle has been parking in this location for the past few weeks. Not only is it a danger to traffic as this is a blind bends it has destroyed the grass verge. It also forces walkers to walk in the road to get around it which again is incredibly dangerous.

  • Quiet night on TV. Looks like it has broken down. Why report this here ? Just because it says Highways Maintenance?

  • Opening statement was that it has been parking here over the past few weeks. Maybe it breaks down every night at roughly the same time every night?? Not sure how you can tell it has 'broken down' from a still photo. However you can see that the verge has been driven on multiple times! I reported it here because this is where you report damage to verges!!!!

  • Thank you for your enquiry. This location has been inspected. There are currently no defects that meet the investigatory levels for repair. These levels need to be agreed with Northamptonshire County Council. We will continue to monitor through our Highway Safety Inspections.
