  • Thank you for your enquiry. The area was reinspected on 15th April and the area was dry at the time. We are aware from previous investigations of water ponding in the area after rainfall. This has been put forward for a drainage improvement scheme which will be assessed against available budgets for this financial year.

  • Photos taken today after one night of rain but will take at least a week of consistently dry weather to subside. Needs attention as the road surface is deteriorating and the bank eroding

  • Dear Sirs

On the 16th April you wrote to me informing

"This has been put forward for a drainage improvement scheme which will be assessed against available budgets for this financial year."

We are now well into this financial year

Can we please have an update indicating when there will be some action?

There is an accident waiting to happen each time there is a substantive rainfall & unfortunately it might involve innocent people

  • Dear Sirs

I think that our request for some clarity in this instance is not unreasonable. I have no idea if we are being ignored because of a system problem or if it is a deliberate action. By the time any action takes place we will be back in winter months & the serious & dangerous flooding will start again for another year
