A huge pot hole in the road

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 20:16, Wednesday 12 February 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 4 minutes later. ref: 1994965.

I was driving home at a time when the traffic was head to toe and i did not see the pothole but felt it when my wheel went into it and caused a loud thud . I was not able to take a photograph due to the amount of traffic. My car made a noise and then it indicated my tyre pressure had changed. I managed to drive to a garage who advised me I need a new tyre and my tracking needs checking. Who can I speak to about reimbursing me for this cost which I now have.

  • This massive pothole is so dangerous. The stones are flying really far away from the road and hitting my windows on house. I have two small kids playing in living room. If one of them hit my window harder then they already are can broke my windows and glass can felt on my kids. Who will then pay for that? Who can I contact in this case?
