Multiple grass verges serverely damaged by vehicles

Reported in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 10:22, Tuesday 18 February 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 4 minutes later. ref: 2005836.

Very well kept grass verges have been spoilt in places by cars continually being parked off road in the same spot on the verge. Some residents are obviously dealing in car repair services!! But also by residents who have numerous visitors who daily park on verges even when large areas of road space is available. This has been the case for approx 12 months near my residence and along other parts of the road. Tyre tracks can clearly be seen, where the grass has now been removed by cars continually being driven on and off the same spot, wells are now being formed, which collect water when it rains and the verge is becoming more and more unsightly. Continued parking in this manner Has made it impossible to use the verges as intended like standing on when climbing in and out of vehicles on the roadside.
