  • The knee rail barrier fence which is located in the verge in front of our rear boundary fence was installed by the developers to protect our fence from traffic and residents vehicles. As the estate has been adopted I assume the maintenance of the barrier is now the county council responsibility. Could you advise please

  • As per our telephone conversation today this is in my opinion several metres beyond the line of concrete edgings that delineate the highway boundary so it would not be maintained by Highways. AreaManager 01604 883400 if further guidance is required.
