A very large pot hole on the Hermitage Road just outside Brampton Ash
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 16:52, Friday 21 February 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 3 minutes later. ref: 2013603.
I was driving along the Hermitage Road, just south of Brampton Ash at 12am on Thursday 20th February, when I hit a large deep pothole. I had an instant flat. It is a single track road and I had to stop the car in the pitch dark in 3 degrees. There no street lighting and little room to pull over to the side. I waited 2 hours till 2am to be rescued by Green Flag hoping that any car driving past at speed would have time to see me and get past me ok. It is a winding road. I hope that it can be repaired ASAP so it does not happen to anyone else.
