Pothole that was previously reported
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 18:05, Sun 23 February 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 5 minutes later. ref: 2016732.
I reported this pothole at the same time (with pictures) of a large hole that has now been repaired. Now 3 x separate and fast worsening holes. Once again debris (that can be clearly seen) is being flicked out of this hole into People and adjacent parked cars. Dangerous! Did also state previously that it would be of Value to send a crew in and repair ALL defects rather than just the ones directly reported. These were directly next to the previously reported. And included, with pictures, in said original report. Also including that Lime Avenue is used by Farm vehicles and Heavy Plant vehicles.

The area of this pothole has only been 'partly' repaired. In this I mean that while the hole has been filled, the surrounding area, which is why this hole developed, is still un-repaired. This will inevitably result in a 3rd visit to repair what essentially is the same defect. The same is evident on other roads in the village and surrounding areas. 'Opportunities Missed' is how I would best describe it. I have previously reported that putting a team in the village to repair All defects/holes. Not just the specific defects reported. This is evident where there is a fast emerging hole right next to the one reported, so resulting in 2 visits to exactly then same location. The only point being made here is that of hopefully assisting in efficiency and associated costs. One visit to deal with primary defect and nearby remedial works must be more efficient than 2 or 3 x Primary visits.....?

This road ,Lime Avenue is becoming more dangerous by the day , because some people don't believe or recognise the 30mph imposed limit . The pothole is adjacent to the public house Royal Oak AND residents vehicles. The hard core stones are flicking up onto the pavements and by god's will they haven't struck pedestrians , if I am injured in anyway I will take this issue to court ,and inform our local MP Andrea Leadsom on this very dangerous situation .In my opinion the whole street could do with resurfacing if the the council is going to allow motorists to continue to break the Speeding law of 30 mph through a residential area .

Northants Police Incident report 299 of 14/07/2020 raising concerns of a large pothole on Lime Avenue , Eydon - opposite the Royal Oak Pub . Photos attached with this report. Can this be assessed as reports suggest vehicles are hitting this and stones are being propelled onto the pavement .
