Property damaged by road vehicles

Reported in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 18:45, Tuesday 25 February 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 6 minutes later. ref: 2022179.

Over the past 3 years, the stonework and porch of our house has been hit by passing vehicles on 4 occasions (that we are aware of). We live on the narrowest part of the High Street and increasingly, vehicles have to mount the pavement outside our property to avoid cars parked unnecessarily on the opposite side of the road. These parked cars cause a dangerous obstruction to larger vehicles attempting to pass, and pose a risk to both pedestrians and property. Ours is a listed property, and we would like Northamptonshire Highways to assess this issue to prevent further damage occurring and enable us to protect our property from further vehicle damage.
