Road surface dangerous as worn and eroded by traffic coming out of Gretton Brook Road industrial estate.f

The road surface has been bad here for ages and has supposed to have been looked at, but it is really bad. You have to stop if traffic is coming the other way to avoid damage to vehicle. On my motorcycle it shakes the bars violently and you weave about! It is where the lorries have come out of the Gretton Brook Industrial Estate and chewed the tarmac until it has become non existent. It really needs looking at. I have reported this before but it has not been fixed as stated. It requires a large section of tarmac to sort this properly as trying to fill it is just going to break up within a week.

Thank you for your enquiry. A works order has been raised to repair the potholes between Danesholme Road and the A427 roundabout and will be undertaken within the next 14 days. At this stage, fudning is not available for full resurfacing of the carriageway at this location.
