Vehicles driving up onto grass
Reported in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 13:29, Monday 2 March 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 6 minutes later. ref: 2034602.
With the vehicles driving up onto grass when the grass is soaking wet it is causing trench like trails which are deep and this causes the mud to run down onto the pathway . Vehicle drivers are sometimes driving over my front garden to exit the street . This has been going on for a number of year and reported every year .
Thank you for reporting a fault. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.

Just providing an update as this is still happening as you can see in the photo we also have council vans driving up and driving quite fast . You can also see tyre marks on my front grass where drivers are driving over to get off the green . Maybe if we could have bollards or something to prevent vehicles from getting onto the green would help . Thank you

Thank you for making us aware of these issues, which also occur in many other similar locations. Responsibilities lie between various authorities, who have discussed this situation. At present it is not possible to install bollards or fencing of any kind but the request has been noted for future consideration.
