Huge potholes, very dangerous.

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 17:58, Mon 2 March 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 2035528.

The road surface on Rockingham Hill continues to break up. It is used by numerous HGVs each day and it is only a matter of time before there is a very serious accident there. The potholes are ridiculously dangerous.

  • There was 2 cars and a police car there last night (02/03/20) I reckon someones suspension has been damaged, expect a hefty claim. It needs looking at this week, not in 28 days. when I drive up the hill I sit in the middle straddling 2 lanes. Its the safest way.

  • This pot hole left my car stranded at the best western hotel since Friday evening 6-3-20 and recovered today 9-3-20 and has cost me £133 for a tyre and the damage to my lower bumper and grille which I’m going through insurance for. How can so many incidents be reported before this very dangerous road is repaired? And properly? I can only add two photos but I have lots more with the damage it has done along with video evidence from the hotel where my car has been left.
