Drain is STILL blocked and has NOT been cleared as stated in 1989718.

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 2035593.
Once again I am reporting (see ref: 1662237 and 1989718) that the road drain on the corner of Thorpe Road and The Ring outside the Forge is STILL blocked. This drain, outside The Forge (my house) overflows and is unable to take any water at all so when it rains everything coming down the hill and from The Ring comes out there and floods part of the road and the entance to my driveway. The drain just past the driveway entrance, which empties into the culvert, is clear and coping at the moment. My question still stands:- Will the Council be liable for any damage caused to my new driveway and how would I claim if necessary? I cannot tell if the drain on the opposite side of Thorpe Road has been cleared although the muddy footprint on top of it suggests not. I do have more pictures of the road if required. Bob Blake, The Forge If/when anyone comes out please have them contact me so that I can be sure they are clear as to the problem.
