The drain cover keeps flipping up and was raised by 1 ft above road yesterday.

Really dangerous and accident waiting happen due to speeding vehicles and large lorries on the road (especially at night). We put it back down yesterday as vehicles were veering around it and not in a safe way but, it needs sorting urgently before it causes a serious accident.

  • Although this has yellow paint around it, so presumably someone has inspected it, the cover is now missing completely and there is an open drain hole in the road. This is dangerous and needs immediate attention or the road closing as a matter of urgency before there is a serious accident.
