Reported in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 16:50, Saturday 28 March 2020

Firstly you report no safety defects. So if the mud causes an accident who is at fault? I have moved the deposited mud from the entrance and the road. Openreach recently put ducting in the same location as the lorry tracks in the verge so I suspect damage has been caused to this. The ditch needs reforming to take water as does the verge.
Thank you for reporting a fault. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.

Rutts in grass verges would currently not be seen as a highways safety defect. Ditches and hedges that border the highway are the responsibility of the adjacent landowner to maintain. Currently the ditch does not constitute a safety related issue.
