Broken stones falling into pathway from wall

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 3 minutes later. ref: 2087068.

The Priory, 1 Hickmire - boundary wall is in serious state of repair and stones from the wall are falling onto the pathway. Bit opposite High Street has large cracks and subsidence, danger of collapsing onto path. NCC Highways informed, Parish Council wrote to resident last year, no repairs made. Please inspect and advise resident. Thank you.

  • An inspection of the area will be taken in the near future and any necessary action taken.

  • Inspection of 07/08/20 showed only a section of coping stones missing from top of wall. No debris on highway, no obvious major damage to wall or signs of imminent collapse. Future issues or ongoing potential probelms with the wall should be handled by WBC Building Control, until and unless wall does collapse.
