Road signs faded

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 2088828.

Inadequate signage on approach to the roundabout. Both lanes indicate you can turn right for the M1/A5 but badly faded. Could use additional road sign to give clearer instructions on roundabout.

I personally have had at least 2-3 near misses here per week with people using the right hand lane on approach to the roundabout and leaving on the left towards the M1 and cutting across.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Works have been instructed and will be undertaken within the next year. We prioritise work based on safety and risk and need to prioritise to make the best use of the resources available to us. On most occasions, we are completing defects sooner
