  • It is now almost impossible to avoid the potholes, they are so big and the shock through the car is severe. It is almost safer to go right around the roundabout and approach from the Kettering side. Shocking that it could take 6 months to repair.

  • I would like to further complain with reference these potholes, they are very large and you cannot avoid them, are you going to be paying for tyres on peoples vehicle that have to go down there for the next 6 months.

  • These pot holes are terrible. They are very slippy when wet and as an emergency response driver it is incredibly dangerous. This will damage many tyres and needs to be fixed ASAP please.

  • This exit slip on the bend is dangerous. Recently witnessed motorcycle rider unseated after front wheel dipped into large pothole on right hand side of the lane. Fortunately the motorcycle rider was able to regain control.

  • Absolutely unbelievable, it's time to escalate this through social media and the press! You, Northamptonshire County Council, have openly lied... Just a couple of weeks ago you posted that this matter was fixed, a temporary repair was going to be undertaken and the matter was closed. Now you have sneakily reopened the case with a 26 week timeline. Are you serious?..

  • Well that's very interesting because I contacted Highways England a couple of weeks ago and guess what.... this is what they said

'Thank you for your email to Highways England dated 07 September regarding a pothole. We have deployed Amey out to investigate today and they have confirmed that this is on the A509 which is not maintained by Highways England. The A509 is managed by Northamptonshire County Council so your query should be redirected to them'. So what's your next excuse going to be.? I seriously hope that no-one is killed or seriously hurt in the next 26 weeks due to your lack of action.
