No dropped kerbs at this junction
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Samuel Shoesmith at 23:24, Sat 2 May 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2103917.
Hello,
Please can dropped kerbs can added at this junction in line with the pathway along Queensway (the desire lines). At present there is no where along here for anyone in a wheelchair or mobility scooter to attempt to cross Burns Road junction if they are coming up Queensway? (Equality Act 2010 issue?).
Could this be fixed please?
Also the lines are so faded at this junction they cannot be seen. Could these be repainted please?

Apparently the Coronavirus has stopped all works. This is despite the Secretary of State for Transport stating that works need to continue which can aid for walking (this is a legal requirement for those with disabilities) and as long as the workers maintain social distancing.

Nope. No dropped kerbs in here yet. This is in direct contradiction to the Equality Act 2010. There should be dropped tactile paving kerbs installed here and for every junction in Wellingborough to make walking not only easier but also possible for everyone.
