Pot Holes, Road Edge Eroded, Verges Damaged
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Rick Martins at 10:35, Wed 6 May 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2107312.
Significant stretches of the road from Marston Trussell to Hothorpe are in a totally unacceptable and dangerous condition. The road has no structural integrity and cannot withstand the HGV and large farm vehicles that constantly use the single track carriageway. Pot hole repairs simply waste resources - many do not last for a week. The "extensive" repairs using latest tar and chip technology at the end of last year have already failed - further waste of resources. The carriageway at least requires an overlay in line with repairs partially carried out several years ago. At least they have more or less been affective.
