Series of minor potholes plus copious loose grit

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2114956.

There are a series of potholes on this T Junction, almost certainly falling below your intervention criteria. However the combination of defects and loose grit from the potholes caused me to crash on my push bike this morning, sustaining injuries to my arms, shoulder and a leg. With the Covid19 emphasis on safe routes for bikes, I would suggest this is made fit for purpose very soon.

  • Thank you for your report. The loose stones have been swept off the junction. A works order has been raised and will be completed within the next 6 months.
