Esveral paving slabs have been broken outside no.7 The Avenue, Spinney Hill.
Reported in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category anonymously at 15:45, Tue 26 May 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2129858.
The pavement slabs outside our house have been severely damaged and broken in half by a large flatbed lorry delivering building materials using the access driveway opposite our house. This is a service driveway to houses on both Kettering Road and Mountfield Road. It appears that this type of lorry is arriving regularly with large building materials on a weekly basis, each week the damage is increasing. The slabs are causing a dangerous trip hazard. The pavement is well used by pedestrians in the area as we are close to Morrisons and bus stops. The pavement would normally also be used by school children in normal times. The damage has been here for approximately three to four weeks.
