No new speed limit signs
Reported in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category by Ian Harrison at 11:12, Wednesday 27 May 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2130882.
Although it has been some months when the lower speed limit was introduced from 40mph down to 30mph from the Mill Lane/Bants Lane roundabout then along Harlestone Road out of town. I see in other reports that this situation was mentioned February 5th 2020 and that it would be a matter of weeks that the new signage would be in place. almost six months later still nothing has been done. Apart from a faded notice giving information regarding New Limit. I have also noticed that before reaching The Hopping Hare there are still two 40 mph signs which will confuse motorists' even more as to what the speed limit should be. Until new signs are installed why not use the Electronic Information Boards to inform motorists' of the new limit
